Horrible DAY - Night and MORNING

It was a typical Sunday. Chris and I woke up, went to Sacrament, I held Primary activities after dropping Chris off at home. (he had a few assignments due, and had to go to work). After Church, I went home and attempted to give Chris a hair cut. It was my first time, and might I say???? I need to practice!!!

I redeemed myself by giving Peanut a haircut. Chris then decided that he was going to call in to catchup on some assignments and spend some time at home. We also had to go to Ashely's furniture to purchase our living room set. Monday was the last day of their SALE. It will be delivered on 4/11. We're excited!!!

THEN comes to the bad part... My carelessness led to me losing my cell phone at Wal-Mart. I set it down on the shelf above the grill I was looking at in the Outdoors section of Wal-Mart. Minutes later, I realized that my phone was missing, I think I found that out when I wasn't receiving anymore text messages from Christa. I bolted to the spot where I though it would be, it wasn't there. So I proceeded to the Service Counter and asked for them me to page for my missing cell phone. No answer. I repeatedly called my phone from the Service Desk and after a few dozen calls that went straight to voicemail. They answered, but no one was on the other end to speak with. Chris texted them and offered a reward. No answer... half and hour later, we decided to drive home. I was on the phone with the wonderful "hold" music for Verizon Wireless before connecting me with an agent. We stopped at the light...then we heard SCREEECH!!!!! SCREEEECH!!! BOOOOOOM!!!! Chris and I were rear ended! 3 pile car accident. The vehicle at fault was completely totalled from the deployed airbags, their front windshield was shattered too. The car that hit us, took off!!! There was minimal damage to our truck's rear bumper. No one was really hurt, so we declined treatment with the EMTs on scene. After trading information with the driver, we drove home to notice that Chris's back was stiffening and my next was hurting more after leaving the scene. We then decided to go to the hospital to get checked out. 1045 pm. Chris was seen, then X-Rayd, then myself, both given shots for pain... It was late and we were both tired. My X-rays came back with something the doc thought should be CT scanned, so I did that. FOUR hours being strapped into the stretcher board and a neck brace, (for precautions) awaiting the results... peeing in a bed pan... they came back fine. Nothing a chiropractor can't fix. We were finally discharged at 10:15 this morning.

WHAT A SUNDAY!!!!! We're okay.... resting as much as we can, with a little bit of pain medication. We're tired now....

Oh dear! I'm so sorry! I'm glad your OK though! I HATE car accidents! Even if your not hurt, it always leaves ya feeling so crappy! I was so upset about my accident a few weeks ago, I didn't even blog it! Guess I should have! I hope you get your cell phone back too! Keep us all posted!

Oh. My. WORD, what a horrible day!!! I'm so glad you two will be alright, but for heaven's sake, why does stuff like that always seem to happen in spurts? Like one misery isn't quite sufficient, LOL...

Well, hope things get back to normal soon for you guys - *hugs!!!*

Wow - what a day indeed! So sorry to hear that. So it sounds like your phone was stolen. I was going to say to check back with lost and found a few days later - we lost Katie's shoe at Wal-Mart one time - and it turned up at the lost and found later. But if someone answered the phone - I guess there's no hope there. That stinks!
