It's been a 2 week roller coaster

As I know most of you know, Chris and I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago. Then a week and a half later, we were told that we were still pregnant.  We couldn't take this back and forth deal with the Doctor that we were first with, so we changed Doctors.  This one was very thorough, explained everything to us... then  last Thursday, July 3, I underwent a D&C procedure.  It was a long and trying day, we were at the Hospital for 13 hours!

We are doing better today, and I am very grateful that Chris has been here to help me through all this.  My body is almost back to normal, I'm able to walk more and more without getting tired.

Miyah, our Pekingese is no longer with us, she now resides with a friend and her family.  It was time to separate her from us.  She was just very unhappy.  I've followed up with my friend and it seems that the family and Miyah are very happy.  The day before surgery, Chris and I went to the Animal Shelter to adopt another pet.    We adopted a little female Corgi Mix.  Her name is Fibi Peanut Stewart.  She's a sweetheart.  (we'll post pictures later).

It seems everyone enjoyed their 4th of July weekend!  Have a great week!
