Watched this movie last night with Chris. It was cute. It's been quite a while since Chris and I have been able to watch a movie together - let alone have more than our normal "hello and goodnight".
We are officially 9 weeks with our first visit to the doc together on Wednesday. I also take the Post Office test that day. I Think we're having the missionaries over again for dinner too! It'll will be a pleasant day.
So, on the baby-gaga.com website there is a due date buddy forum, where mothers that have the same due date can chat. I found this gal from the Philippines on the site, we're about the same age and have tons in common. We've been e-mailing each other on the site and comparing symptoms and such, and just how we're doing on our pregnancies. She's an awesome gal.
The weekend went by too fast. While still contemplating on which job to keep and quit from. I'm just enjoying the break from both until tomorrow. For one, Petland is great, I love working with the animals, but their fear is that I will be unable to perform all my tasks once the belly starts to show. The assistant manager did offer me a Manager spot for the Kennel section of the store. They pay isn't that good, there are a lot of responsibilities that go with it, but I think the pay should be much higher for a manager. The general manager on the other hand doesn't want to give me the position because I am preggo. I didn't like the answer. So I'm keeping them on the To Let Go list. Olive Garden, has agreed to give me 38 hours a week with Sunday and Mondays off. I like that one better. When I told them that I was considering to leave the restaurant because of lack of hours... they offered me the above. So I think I'll be a hostess for quite a while.

so are you serving still? do you plan to be a hostess when serving becomes difficult due to the belly? hmmm, well good luck with whatever you choose. Have fun with Chris Wednesday- I imagine you are hearing the heartbeat- fun!!
Hostessing will be fun! Less frantic than serving! :-) (At least for me... I was nice, but not a very excellent server, LOL! ;-)
And yeah - the Petland place - what are they thinking? "Oh, pregnant women can't lift dogs?" They can lift 30+ pound toddlers, LOL... (not necessarily easily, but they can! ;-)
Glad you found a "pregnancy buddy," too!!! :-) Isn't it wonderful to be able to share things with someone going through the same thing? :-)
Hope you definitely enjoy your weekend! :-)
Well I've been hostessing for a while now since discovering the pain in my hands and wrists, which may I add have disappeared (almost) My pinky still stiffens everyday.
Hi Princess -
Good luck with the job decisions - it's never easy, especially when you are expecting. I am your swap partner for Kelly's swap - it has been fun looking at some of the things you have going on, I am also expecting (only I am on #4). I'll email you soon to get more particulars! Good luck with everything. - Jenny
