So I took a road trip by myself to El Paso to meet with my mom and sister. The main reason was to trade vehicles with them. (the Benz for the Jetta) Many thanks to Gordon for driving the Jetta down from Boise to Las Vegas! Thanks Dad!
So it was just Mom and her girls for 1.5 days, but well worth it! We visited the hospital that my sister (RJ) was born in and the apartment that we lived in. Man I couldn't believe I was able to recognize the place! Honestly, I can remember the inside too!
We had dinner at the Olive Garden (like I'm not sick of that place yet) and when back to the hotel to sleep for our long trip back. In the morning we ate at IHOP yumm-o! It was
hard to part with them! It has been so long since I've seen my family! (since the wedding anyway) I'm a sucker when it comes to goodbyes...
