our first blog

so! Here we are, our first blog. It's Friday morning and we just had lunch. (I made fried rice) Yumm-o! Our life in Laredo is quite simple. We work during the week and spend time with the pups on the weekend to one of the three places; Lake Casa Blanca, Petland and Petco. Hurley, the 5 moth old Sharpei mix is growing up so much! He's much taller than Miyah our 2 year old Pekingese. Hurley is quite the playful one. He loves to chase Miyah around the living room and cause a distraction. His favorite toy is the top to out starch spray can! Miyah on the other hand (the mellow one) just lets Hurley play with the toys and gives him first dibs on the food bowl! Chris is learning more at his work and training is almost to and end for him! As I am still waiting for a call from either the Post-Office, the Federal Prison, or the Laredo Times for employment. But in the meant time I'm settling at the Olive Garden serving lots of salad and bread sticks!
